These terms set the ground rules for using friendship.day and any Friendship Day tools that link to them.
Using the site
By using a service that links to these terms, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, do not use that service. Separate terms or notices may apply to a specific feature and will take priority for that feature if they conflict with these general terms.
You must be legally able to use the service in your location. A parent or guardian should supervise a young person whose age or circumstances require it.
Information, not professional advice
Our articles and creative prompts are for general information and inspiration. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or emergency advice and should not replace help from a suitably qualified professional.
Dates, traditions and social expectations can vary by country, community and person. Consider the recipient and context before acting on a suggestion.
Our content and your use
Unless a page says otherwise, the site design, original articles, illustrations, branding and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may read, link to and make reasonable personal use of the site.
You may adapt a short message prompt for a personal note. You may not republish substantial parts of the site, remove attribution, resell our content, scrape at a disruptive scale or use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.
Information you enter into a tool
If a tool lets you enter a name, message or other material, you remain responsible for having the right to use it. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, confidential or unnecessarily sensitive information.
We do not claim ownership of the personal wording you enter merely because you use a tool. A feature-specific notice may explain limited processing needed to generate, save or share an output.

Third-party services and links

A link is not automatically an endorsement. Commercial links will be disclosed in accordance with our Advertising Disclosure.
